Limited Government
What is Limited Government?
Limited government is when a country puts limitations on their government’s power. It gives the citizens more power in their community and country. Limited government is less invasive in citizen’s lives than other governments.
When has our government overstepped it's limits?
Obama-care is an example of when the government has overstepped it's limits. People believe that the government should help when it is needed but it is not the government's job to take care of them. Another example is the Japanese internment camp during World War II, when America imprisoned thousands of Japanese citizens based on the assumption that they "could possibly" be a threat to our nation. The EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) is another prime example. They have taken farmer's lands with the intentions of protecting salmon. They are trying to protect salmon and the environment, but at the cost of farmer's lands and livelihoods.
